ABRSM organises teachers’ conference on “Bhartiya Chintan” and “Bharat Ki Avdharana”

In a pursuit of intellectual enrichment and educational excellence, the Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shakshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) Jammu Kashmir convened a two-day Teachers’ Conference on the themes of “Bhartiya Chintan” and “Bharat Ki Avdharana” at Indian Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra.
Mahendra Kapoor, National Organizing Secretary of ABRSM, inaugurated the conference and lit the traditional lamp. He was accompanied by Dr. Vikrant Sharma, Social activist, Devraj Thakur, and Rattan Sharma.
The highlight of the conference was the inauguration of a new state body, symbolizing ABRSM’s commitment to advancing educational ideals. Renowned Educationist Devraj Thakur assumed the pivotal role of State Overall Head of Jammu Kashmir, while Mr. Rattan Sharma and Mr. Gulshan Raina were appointed as President and Secretaries of the School Education Wing, respectively.
A key moment in the proceedings was the insightful keynote address delivered by Prof. Narayan Lal Gupta, National Additional General Secretary of ABRSM. His discourse delved into the intricate themes of “Bhartiya Chintan” and “Bharat Ki Avdharana,” providing profound insights into the philosophical essence of India and prompting thoughtful reflection among the attending educators. In his address, he said, “Bharat has been a timeless nation, its resilience echoing through the ages. Amidst numerous ups and downs, the nation’s essence has endured, constantly evolving with the changing times. In Bharat, various forms of social, cultural, and political diversities coexist, yet are bound together by an eternal thread. This unity finds its roots in our timeless civilization. Bharat, with its rich history and diverse traditions, has weathered the storms of time, standing resilient against various invasions and upheavals,” said Narayan.
He further said, “Bharat has a long and complex history that spans over thousands of years and has been shaped by numerous civilizations, dynasties, and empires. Understanding India’s history and how it has shaped the country’s identity is essential for building a better future and achieving national unity.”
Dr. Vikrant Sharma, Dr. Geeta Bhat, Director Non-collegiate Women college Delhi, Prof. Jaspal Warwal, Prof. Lokender Sharma, Shri Surinder Sharma, Devender Kumar, Darshan Bharti National Convener ABRSM Media Prokosht also spoke on various issues.
Mahendra Kapoor, National Organizing Secretary of ABRSM, announced the new unit for the Jammu and Kashmir UT. With Devraj Thakur as UT President of ABRSM (including College and University Education), while Rattan Sharma and Gulshan Raina have been nominated as president and secretary for School Education. He highlighted the aims and objectives of ABRSM and how since its inception in 1988 has emerged into the largest teachers’ organization in Bharat.
In addition to this, other office bearers announced by Mahindar Kapoor were Darshan Bharati as Senior Vice President, Darshan Bharti who is also the National Convener of the Media cell of ABRSM.
While Neeraj Sharma as Additional General Secretary, Satya Bhushan, Sanjay Sharma, Manjit Singh, and Mrs. Renu as vice Presidents, Sanjeev Dutta, Gurdeep Kumar, Rahul Sharma, and Mrs. Aruna Parihar as Secretaries, Sanjay Kumar Katoch as Treasurer, Kartar Singh as Internal Auditor, Pawan Kumar Sharma as secretary, Press and Media , Pradeep Sharma and Rakesh Kumar were as Executive Members.
