On National Youth Day, Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit message to the youth to stay away from drugs.
Under the leadership of party state chief Manish Sahni, Shiv Sainiks distributed Quotes to stay away from drugs and tokens of blessing to the youth at Dogra Chowk , Jammu.
State Chief Manish Sahni said in his address that along with terrorism, narco terror is emerging as the biggest problem in Jammu and Kashmir and what is even more worrying is the increase in the number of drug addicts. The present young generation is becoming a victim of drug addiction. In the last few years, there has been an unprecedented increase in the number of youth taking drugs.
The drug trade in Jammu and Kashmir is increasing with every passing day.
The population of drug addicts in Jammu and Kashmir is shocking. The number of drug addicts has reached 15 lakh, touching 10-12 percent, and 90% of these people are in the age group of 17 to 33 years. Sahni said that today is the birth anniversary of spiritual guru and inspiration for youth, Swami Vivekananda, which is celebrated as National Youth Day. Let us take a pledge together that we will not get addicted to drugs but will get addicted to hard work, success, patriotism and humanity. In this occasion Gen Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Charman Rakesh Gupta and many others were present.
