Ramakrishna Mission, commemorates National Youth Day with Inter School Talent Hunt culmination

Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, marked the celebration of National Youth Day on Friday in honor of the birthday of the revered Swami Vivekananda. The event served as the culmination of the Inter School Talent Hunt program organized in December 2023, attracting over 250 enthusiastic youths.
On the occasion, SSP Jammu, Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma, SDPO Domana, Vishal Shoor and Joint Director of Tourism, Sunaina Sharma Mehta were the Special Guests.
Expressing his appreciation, Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma commended the efforts of Ramakrishna Mission and pledged his support to promote the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. He emphasized the importance of instilling Vivekananda’s principles in the younger generation.
Sunaina Sharma Mehta urged the youth to embrace Vivekananda’s teachings and emphasized the significance of being proud of one’s cultural heritage. Swami Yajnadharananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Jammu, inspired the young participants by highlighting the relevance of Vivekananda’s teachings in the current context. The event featured a performance by the winners of the Inter School Competition, followed by a prize distribution ceremony.
Maharaja Hari Singh Agricultural Collegiate (MHAC) School, Nagbani, secured the first place, KC International School secured the second place and Bharatiya Siksha Kender School, Domana, secured the third place.
Among the dignitaries present were Rajiv Khajuria, S.K Jain, Bharatbhushan Kesar, Ankush Kesar, Ravi Raghuvanshi, Mahua Gupta, Anjali Sharma and Kuldeep Khajuria.
Sumptuous Prasad was distributed to all attendees as a token of blessings from Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, which is dedicated to providing cultural, educational, and medical services in alignment with the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Maa Sarada, and Swami Vivekananda.
