Rehan basera Boria in collaboration with JMC organises Samman Samaroh

The Management Committee of Rehan Basera Boria, along with JMC and NGOs, organized a Samman Samaroh to honor different organizations that regularly support the inmates of Rehan Basera. The event witnessed the presence of various dignitaries, including Chief Guest Sh. I. D. Soni, President of Home for Aged and Infirm, and Guest of Honor Ravinder Singh, a journalist. The Team Sahara Bano, led by Sh. Rakesh Gupta, was recognized and honored for their dedicated efforts, along with other individuals and organizations that contributed to the welfare of the Rehan Basera inmates. Sham Lal Basson, ex-corporator and member of the Management of Rehan Basera, expressed gratitude towards the NGOs that have consistently assisted the inmates.
He announced that 38 members of Rehan Basera were successfully reunited with their family members within Jammu and Kashmir UT and outside the state. Sh. I. D. Soni, while addressing the gathering, emphasized the moral duty of every citizen to support specially-abled persons, inmates of old age homes, Rehan Basera, SOS, and other institutes catering to the vulnerable sections of society.
S. Ravinder Singh, the journalist, thanked the NGOs and individuals who have been actively helping the less fortunate. The honorees included Sh. I. D. Soni, S. Ravinder Singh, Rakesh Gupta, and Team Sahara Bano, among others. Madam Veena Bakshi, the manager of Rehan Basera, extended a vote of thanks, acknowledging the support of NGOs providing warm clothes, shoes, food, and other essentials.
Lohri festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm by all participants among the inmates of Rehan Basera at Shelter Home Boria Gorkh Nagar Jammu. The event also showcased the talents of the inmates from the Deaf and Dumb Institute Shaheedi Chowk Jammu, who sang patriotic songs and poems. The Management appreciated media persons who highlighted the activities of Rehan Basera and recognized the contribution of Jammu Smart City Ltd for renovating the building, installing essential facilities, and upgrading the overall infrastructure under the supervision of CEO, Addl CEO, and other team members.
