JAMMU, Jan 9
Sham Lal Langer, Convenor Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Trade Cell, Jammu and Kashmir has asserted that the Union Govt led by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in full synchronization with the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Administration stands fully committed to faster development of the nation as well as the welfare of the people. He said that the BJP’s unprecedented success is not a coincidence but attributable to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary approach to people’s welfare and development and the dedicated work of the party’s foot soldiers working relentlessly 24X7 among the people at the grass roots level.
In a statement issued to media, Sham Langer said that BJP is an organization with broader approach and has always been outcome oriented, on matters of welfare and economic upliftment rather than being dogmatic. Its greatest achievement has been in matters pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir be it abrogation of Article 370 or reining in the terrorists by following a zero tolerance policy against the merchants of death and destruction. Moreover, the party accords top priority to nationalism, he added.
The senior BJP leader said that Bharatiya Janata Party has not only served the country a package of ideologically-driven reforms but it also ensured that the said transformation takes place in quick succession, rather than at a snail’s pace as it happened in earlier regimes. It would not be wrong to state PM Modi effortlessly fused nationalism and development augmented by aggressive campaigns against corruption and making transparency its hallmark. He said that rather than pushing welfarism to the margin, BJP made it the main stake which is evidenced by the fact that the budgets brought by the BJP Govt reflect policy continuity. Undoubtedly welfarism remains the central pillar of the Modi government’s development policy, he said there should be no doubt that BJP is set to take up the reins of the governance of the nation under PM Modi for the third consecutive term.
