Brahman Sabha, Channi Himmat Branch a Subsidiary of Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha holds meeting which was centrally focussed on discussion and suggestions for smooth implementation of Sanskars and Sanskritic programs in the society. The meeting commenced after jyoti Prajablan by Sh. V.P Sharma, President Dogra Brahman Patinidhi Sabha, Dr.P.C Shastri, President Awardee, Special Invitee/Chief Guest, Sh. Sunil Sharma, Coordinator along with Executive body members. The office bearers of Sanatan Dharam Sabha, General Category Peoples Forumand other social organisations were also invited in the meeting.
Speaking on this occasion Dr. Shastri stressed on giving due recognition to the Brahmins who have done a lot for the society and country. Enlightening that Brahmins by Birth should also be Brahmin with Karma and Sanatan Sanskriti needs proper Prachar among masses so that nobody could dare to deliver false propaganda among masses just for vote bank politics. Sh. Jagdish Dogra who was representing S.D Sabha also shared his views on Sanatan Dharam and to educate the youth regarding our Devi Devtas and their preachings and told the significance of Janau and its signifiance.
Sunil Sharma, Convenor delivered brief report on the work done till date by Sabha. He informed the gathering that database is being prepared by connecting the Brahmin families living in Channi Himmat. Brahmins in Channi Himmat area can become a part of Brahmin Sabha by filling a form to take membership of Brahmin Sabha. Every Sunday this campaign will be taken forward with the help of many Brahmin families. This campaign is gaining momentum every day with some new experiences and suggestions which will prove useful in strengthening Sabha in the future. Sunil Sharma said that in the coming time, this campaign of moral values started by sabha will move forward with more speed and many works for the upliftment of the society will be done by the Sabha in the future. Sunil Sharma further informed that sabha started Hanuman chalisa in Temples as a part of “Sanskar Sinchan Programme”
After the address of other speakers viz. Soujanya Sharma, Prof. R.D Sharma, Yash Pal Sharma Sh. Ved Parkash Sharma, President DBP Sabha stressed on propagation of moral values among Brahmins, eradication of Nasha which is rapidly flourishing among youth and celebration of different occasions viz Parshuram Jayanti, National days and Sanskritic events and upkeeping of Dogra culture and heritage with unity and coordination.
He lauded the efforts of Sunil Sharma, Convenor of the Channi Himmat Sabha and executive body members for the best efforts done to unite Brahmins in Channi Himmat in short time. The proceedings of meeting were conducted by Sh Sanjeev Sharma and Vote of thanks was given by Gopal Sharma.
Others included Ashok khajuria, Kewal Krishan Sharma, Bhola Nath Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Chaman Lal Sharma, Subhash Shastri, Yash Paul Sharma, Pawan Kumar Sharma, Raju Sharma, Varun Sharma, Parveen Sharma, Inder Kumar Sharma, Rajinder Sharma, Diwakar Khajuria, Sunil Sharma, Master Aayushman Sharma, Kewal Krishna Sharma Girija Sharma, Bhuvneshwari Sharma, Neeru Sharma, Gopal Sharma, Soujanya Sharma, Shivram sharma, Krishan chand Sharma, M.L.Padha Jagan Nath Sharma were present on the occasion.
