Jammu Province Bachao Manch (JBM) organised ” Ekta Samalan ” here today in a simple but impressive function at Press Club Jammu under the stewardship of it’s Chairman Mr Ashok Sharma former MLA.
The Samalan was a concluding event of week long ‘Ekta Abhiyan’ launch by the organisation from Bawa Da Jarh. While speaking on the occasion the Chairman JBM and former Law Maker Advocate Ashok Sharma said that there is dire need to have broader unity among the people of Jammu Province to restore the lost glory, dignity and pride of the people of Jammu Region in particular and J&K in general. He pleaded for restoration of Statehood with land and job guarantee to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Unemployment and Drug menace are the enemies of the youth which need iron hands to check these social evils but the present dispensation have completely forgotten its responsibility to view seriously and act. Imposition of unwarranted taxes and enacting of anti-people legislations have deepened the trust deficit in public life which also require immediate attention, added Mr. Ashok Sharma.
Kuldip Sharma Chief Advisor cum Spokesperson in his address expressed serious concern over the forced intrusion of the non-locals in Jammu and elsewhere. He urged upon the people of Jammu Province to unite themselves on single social platform like JBM to save the comming generation from such future unbecoming situations.
