National Valmiki Sena’s National Chairman Mr. RAJU CHANDEL in a conversation with journalists today along with prominent community members including sansthapak Surendra Chandel, National president Moni Chandel, & Anil Chuniyana, and Anil Shahid, expressed gratitude towards India’s esteemed Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. Mr. Chandel highlighted the community’s lifelong indebtedness to the Prime Minister for honoring Lord Valmiki.
Chandel emphasized Lord Valmiki’s pivotal role in chronicling the life of Lord Rama before his earthly incarnation. He stated that without Lord Valmiki’s work, the world would have remained unaware of Lord Rama’s legacy. Today, the teachings of the Ramayana, composed by Lord Valmiki, guide the entire world and celebrate Lord Rama’s greatness. The Prime Minister’s acknowledgment of Lord Valmiki has deepened the community’s faith and reverence for him.
On this occasion, Mr. Chandel criticized previous governments for disrespecting Lord Valmiki by openly labeling him a bandit. In contrast, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Lord Valmiki is rightfully recognized as an all-seeing sage and a revered founder of religious doctrine. This distinction marks a significant difference between the achievements of the current government and its predecessors, for which the Valmiki community remains eternally grateful.
Mr. Chandel further condemned a former minister’s remarks on leaving the country or avoiding public appearances if the Ram Temple were built. He suggested that such corrupt and immoral leaders should leave the country and abandon Sanatan Dharma. Mr. Chandel concluded by appreciating the Modi government’s efforts in erasing the slander against Lord Valmiki by previous administrations and leaders, and the imminent construction of the Ram Temple.
