DLTC Ramban finalises Scale of KCC Finance for different crops for 2024-25

District Level Technical Committee (DLTC) meeting met here today to finalize the Scale of KCC Finance for the year 2024-25 of the Agriculture, Horticulture Crops, Livestock, and other allied sector productions in the district.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma, Chief Planning Officer, Shakeeb Ahmed Rather, Chief Agriculture Officer, Ram Gopla Sharma, Chief Horticulture Officer, Anil Gorka, Chief Animal Husbandry. Dr. Suhail Kawoosa, DSHO, Dr. Shabir Ahmed, AD, Fisheries, Fayaz Ahmed, DDM, NABARD, Aarushi Sharma, Lead Bank Manager, Abdul Rashid Sofi, Cluster Head JK Bank, Parvez Iqbal, Manager JCC Bank, Madan Khajuria and other officers from departments and banks were present in the meeting.
The ADDC discussed vital issues with officers regarding enhancement in scale of finance of different Agriculture and Horticulture Crops for Kisan Credit Card (KCC) holders of the district.
The meeting held a threadbare discussion on the existing and proposed Scale of Finance (SOF) for various KCC Crops & Allied Activities.
The DLTC finalizes the Scale of Finance of different Agriculture and Horticulture Crops for Kisan Credit Card (KCC) holders of Ramban district producing various agro- based products including Cereals, Vegetables, Pulses, Rapeseed, Mustard, Potato, Fodder, Spices, Goat, Sheep, Poultry, Fisheries and various other activities of allied sectors. It was also decided to cover Quince and Anardhana cultivation as horticulture activity for KCC benefit.
On the occasion, the economic potential of different varieties of products was discussed for boosting income of farmers, besides creating job opportunities for unemployed youth.
Meanwhile, the ADDC stressed upon the officers of line departments and bankers to ensure the utmost accuracy in the formulation of the scale of finance component-wise so that the farmers are facilitated properly. He laid emphasis on providing assistance to farmers for agriculture activities which have ample potential in the district to enhance the additional income of the farmers.
Later, the ADDC also released the Potential Linked Credit Plan for 2024-25 of district Ramban in presence of senior officers and bankers prepared by NABARD containing the total credit potential of the district for a particular year. It is based on infrastructure availability and developmental plans of the district.
