Chairing a meeting of all morchas of BJP at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, party’s general secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta, said that the role of every morcha is crucial in strengthening the party.
Jammu and Kashmir BJP Secretary Arvind Gupta, BJYM Prabhari Munish Sharma, and Jammu district President Parmodh Kapahi, accompanied the general secretary in the meeting.
Vibodh Gupta, in the meeting, said that Bharatiya Janata Party has different morchas representing SC, ST, OBC, women, farmer, youth and minority communities. The objective of constituting morchas is to provide a platform to each of the said communities to highlight the issues related to them and extend best possible help to mitigate their sufferings. He said that the BJP through these morchas also gets an opportunity to have direct contact with their large population and also convince them to support the party.
Vibodh Gupta said that the BJP is always concerned for the well-being and progress of the members of different morchas and keep organizing their meetings from time to time.
‘Sanyukt Morcha Sammelan’ of BJYM, SC, ST, Minority, farmers, OBC and Mahila Morcha is scheduled to be held on January 04, next month and it will have participation of about 400 activists of the morchas holding responsibilities as morcha presidents, morcha office bearers, morcha prabhari, seh-prabhari, district presidents. He said that this sammelan will discuss the future programmes to reach maximum population of different categories and share with them the Modi’s good governance model with them and also inform about numerous welfare schemes for their benefits. He asked the morcha presidents to ensure participation of all the invitees in the January 04, sammelan.
Morcha Prabharis Anuradha Charak, Veenu Khanna, Brahmjot Satti, Jagdish Bhagat, Haroon Choudhary, Morcha Presidents Arun Prabhat Singh, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa, Sanjita Dogra, Neelam Langeh, Roshan Choudhary, Seh-Prabhari Ajay Vaid attended this meeting.
