The people of District Samba witnessed the live streaming of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message/interaction with the participants of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide outreach and awareness campaign today.
The live webcast of the PM’s address was played through IEC Van at three locations: Village Kangwala, Panchayat Sadoh in Block Samba, Panchayat Blatter, Block Sumb and Panchayat Vijaypur of Block Vijaypur.
The public participated enthusiastically and listened to the PM’s vision of inclusive development and empowerment of the communities.
A grand event was also organised in panchayat Sadoh, village Kangwala, block Samba, where vibrant stalls were set up by various departments to showcase the achievements and activities of the government’s welfare schemes and policies. The event also featured cultural performances by the school children and a Sankalp pledge by the participants to join the Prime Minister in his mission of building a Viksit Bharat.
The event was attended by DDC Chairman Keshav Dutt Sharma, DDC Member Subash Bhagat, DDC Member Asha Rani, BDC Chairman Radhey Sham, ADC Sidharth Dhiman, officers of District Administration, and locals.
The aim of the Yatra is to generate awareness and facilitate the delivery of welfare schemes benefits to the citizens. The Yatra also recognises and celebrates the inspiring stories of individuals and communities who have benefited from the government’s flagship schemes.
