Participates in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra program

The District Industries Centre (DIC) Bandipora Monday organized an awareness programme focused on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and the Regulatory Compliance for Approval of Manufacturing Premises (RAMP) initiatives at Conference Hall Mini Secretariat Bandipora. The event was presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad. Among others, ACR Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad besides other concerned were present on the occasion.
The event was also attended by budding entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and government officials.
The event was organised to educate local entrepreneurs and industry enthusiasts on the significance of MSMEs and the streamlined processes provided by RAMP.
Speaking on the occasion, experts emphasized the pivotal role that MSMEs play in fostering economic growth and employment generation.
Officials also delivered presentations, shedding light on the various aspects of MSMEs, such as their contribution to employment, innovation, and overall economic development.
Furthermore, the session on RAMP provided a detailed understanding of the regulatory compliance requirements for establishing manufacturing premises. Experts elaborated on the simplified approval processes under RAMP, highlighting its role in facilitating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
During the programme, an interactive Question and Answer session was also held, allowing participants to seek clarifications and engage in meaningful discussions with the experts. Subsequently, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra event was held on the occasion to educate participants regarding various centrally sponsored flagship schemes.
The DC distributed pamphlets among the participants regarding awareness of different welfare schemes. The participants were also educated regarding different types of schemes besides procedures and eligibility to reap benefits from them.
