In a commendable initiative, the Shri Mal Mata Sukrala Devi Dharmik Trust (SMMSDDT), in association with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Specialist Hospital, Katra, organized a free medical camp at Ambedkar Nagar Ward No. 59 Paloura, Jammu. The event was inaugurated by SP City North, Sh. Kubir Handa, alongside Sh. Tript Shastri, Chairman of Shri Mal Mata Sukrala Devi Dharmik Trust, Sh. Raj Kumar Gupta, President of Jammu Kashmir Gau Raksha Samiti, and Sh. Sikander Singh Chauhan, SHO Janipur Jammu.
Expressing the importance of such initiative by the Trust , SP City North Kubir Handa emphasized that the free medical camp aims to reach out to those who face challenges in accessing healthcare due to limited transportation facilities. With Narayana Hospital being renowned as one of the best in the Jammu division, the camp strives to bridge the gap for individuals who may not have convenient access to quality medical services.
Tript Shastri, Chairman of the Trust, highlighted that they have been providing such essential free services for the past year in various locations. Its our 9th camp and in this camp 100-150 peoples take this benifit of this free medical camp.The primary objective of these free medical camps is to reach out to those who cannot travel long distances for check-ups, particularly catering to the needs of the underprivileged.
At the camp held today, Dr. Swati Sharma, (optholmolgy) an eye specialist, and Dr. Imran Hansi, an ortho specialist, provided medical check-ups to the attendees.
Shubham langer (General Secretary) Shri Mal Mata Sukrala Devi Dharmik Trust expressed its commitment to continue organizing such initiatives to serve the community and extend medical assistance to those in need.
