Rubina Akhtar pledges to carry forward Party’s mission of tackling critical issues

The National Loktantrik Party’s (NLP) Jammu & Kashmir unit commemorated its 28th Foundation Day with a vibrant program themed “Sankalp Diwas” (Day of Resolve) in Jammu today. The event witnessed the presence of distinguished party leaders, including State President Hakumat Singh, National General Secretary Rubina Akhtar, Jammu & Kashmir Spokesperson Mohammad Yaqoob Duna, State Vice President Imtiaz Ahmed, State General Secretary Lucky Ali, and other prominent members like Adil, Shamsher Singh Rana, Sukhdev, Anju, Bharti, Tanvi Gupta, Navida Bano, Jamila, Shanaz, Iqra, Owais, Junaid, Afroza Sarpanch, Asif, Mustaq Sarpanch, Adil Ali Mir, and many more.
Speaking on the occasion, Rubina Akhtar, National General Secretary, extended warm greetings to all state officials and workers, particularly those in Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and, of course, Jammu & Kashmir.
She took the opportunity to trace the party’s roots, recalling how individuals from diverse political and social backgrounds across India came together in Lucknow on December 15th, 1995, to form the National Loktantrik Party under the leadership of Dr. Masood Ahmed. This spirit of unity continues to inspire the party’s mission of serving the people.
Rubina Akhtar expressed her personal connection to the party’s values, highlighting her role in establishing the NLP’s Jammu & Kashmir chapter on August 18th, 2023. She expressed sincere gratitude to the entire Jammu & Kashmir team, acknowledging the crucial contributions of President Hakumat Singh, General Secretary Lucky Ali, Spokesperson Yakub Ji, and other members like Arbeena, Mushtaq Mir, Owais, Shahnaza, Imtiaz, Naveeda, Anju Rai, Tanvi Gupta, Sukhdev Kumar, Shamsherji, Bharti Devi, Santoshji, and Manpreet Kaur. Their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in propelling the party forward in the state.
The senior leader of National Loktantrik Party further acknowledged the unwavering support of National President (Executive) Dr. Sohail Chaudhry. She expressed deep appreciation for his Trust in appointing her to the positions of National General Secretary and In-charge of Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka. His guidance and support remain invaluable to the party’s progress.
While celebrating the party’s milestones, Rubina Akhtar emphasized the importance of looking ahead.

She pledged to carry forward the NLP’s mission of tackling critical issues like poverty, unemployment, and education faced by the people of Jammu & Kashmir. With a renewed focus on grassroots outreach and community engagement, she asserted the party’s commitment to making a significant positive impact on the lives of people across India.
