To reach out and extend Indian Army’s gratitude to the EX Servicemen (ESM),Veer Naris and Widows of Jammu & Samba region, a Ex Servicemen Rally was conducted at Ratnuchak under the aegis of Rising Star Corps on 14 Dec 2023. It aimed at supporting our veterans and providing a platform for the ESMs to bring forth their suggestions and grievances if any. Specialised medical facilities were made available, to include medical, Dental and ENT facilities for the ESM and their dependents in collaboration with Director of Health Services, Jammu as part of civil military cooperation for betterment of society. Commander of the local formation interacted and felicitated ESMs and Veer Naris, who had turned up in large numbers.
The rally included a grievance redressal cell and various stalls by the representatives of ECHS Centre, Zila Sainik Board, State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Max Life Insurance and HDFC life Jammu. As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Max life Insurance and HDFC life presented assistive amenities such as Wheel Chairs and Walking Sticks to the elderly and Sewing Machines to the ESMs.
