JAMMU, Dec 9
In a significant move for Jammu and Kashmir, the National Loktantrik Party, established a few months ago, recently held its first major event in the Jammu region.
Dr. Suhail Choudhary, National President (Executive) of the National Loktantrik Party, addressed well-attended press conference in Jammu, presenting a multi-pronged, people-focused vision for the party.
He emphasized that if the National Loktantrik Party comes to power, it will facilitate comprehensive progress and prosperity.
“Education is the cornerstone of civilization,” Dr. Choudhary stated. “We will ensure that the benefits of education reach every corner of Jammu and Kashmir. Through education, our youth can make significant progress. We will provide free education for the children of the less fortunate, ensuring they are not deprived of this vital resource.”
He also announced plans for free medical treatment across Jammu and Kashmir for all citizens.
Addressing unemployment, a major issue for the region’s youth, exacerbated by three decades of turmoil, post-abrogation scenarios, and the Coronavirus pandemic, Dr. Choudhary declared, “The National Loktantrik Party will spare no effort in creating employment opportunities, particularly for the educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir.”
Further, Dr. Choudhary acknowledged the burden of inflation and price rise on the residents of Jammu and Kashmir. He assured that the party would implement measures to alleviate these issues if elected.
He criticized the frequent toll taxes in the form of toll plazas every 15 or 20 kilometers, noting their impact on travelers and transporters. He pledged that the National Loktantrik Party would address this significant concern.
Dr. Choudhary also commented on the Smart Meter system’s financial impact on households, which has led to a substantial increase in expenses. “The National Loktantrik Party will work towards easing the tariffs associated with smart meters,” he said. He mentioned that the promises of a ‘Naya Kashmir’ post-abrogation have largely been unfulfilled, leading to shattered dreams of the people. “Our party is committed to driving all-around development to create a progressive Jammu and Kashmir.”
He emphasized the urgent need to restore statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, declaring this a key solution to many problems and vowing that the party would strive to achieve this goal.
Dr. Choudhary expressed his pleasure at the increasing number of people from various sectors in Jammu and Kashmir joining the National Loktantrik Party. He concluded with confidence that the party would transform Jammu and Kashmir into a haven of peace and prosperity.
