Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh today chaired a meeting to finalise the arrangements for Panchayat Secretary (VLW) examination scheduled for December 10, 2023. The meeting took place in the conference hall of the DC office complex.
The discussion revolved around finalizing necessary parameters for conducting the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) based examination for the Panchayat Secretary post. DC Doda issued directives to various stakeholders, including officers from different departments, duty magistrates, observers, and center superintendents. These directives included conducting visits to their alloted centers to ensure all arrangements are in place for the smooth conduct of the examination.
Furthermore, DC Doda emphasized the need for thorough checks, such as verifying the installation of CCTV cameras in the examination centers. He also instructed officials to inspect facilities such as washrooms, toilets, and water facilities to ensure they meet the aspirants’ needs. Additionally, the use of electronic gadgets in the examination center was strictly prohibited, as mandated by the Deputy Commissioner of Doda.
The meeting boasted attendance from key figures, including the SSP Doda, ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, Member/ Representative of JKSSB, Project Officer ICDS Doda, SDMs of Thathri, Assar, Gandoh, DTO Doda, CEO Doda, Tehsildars, Deputy Superintendent of Police HQ Doda, Deputy Superintendent of Police DAR, SDPOs of Bhadewah and Gandoh, duty magistrates, observers, and center superintendents.
