DODA, DECEMBER 04: District Doda witnessed the transformative momentum of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a campaign aimed at raising awareness about the ongoing government initiatives for the comprehensive development of the region. The program, spanning locations such as Assar, Kastigarh, Bhaderwah, Bhalla, Thathri, Kahra, and Changa blocks, sought to educate locals about a myriad of developmental programs. The yatra brought together community members, leaders, and dedicated individuals, all dedicated to advancing national development.
This dynamic initiative not only showcased the diverse cultural heritage of the region but also provided a platform for different government departments to present their flagship schemes and services at stalls. The lively cultural extravaganza, coupled with the presence of esteemed personalities and community leaders, heightened enthusiasm among attendees, encouraging active participation in the nation’s progress.
The yatra left an indelible mark by visiting numerous panchayats, including Chakka A1, Chakka A2, Dhandal A, Dhandhal B, Thanalla, Chakka, Sindra, Choundhry, Dharyouth, Bathri, Porapian, and Kilohotran. Residents responded with overwhelming enthusiasm, with government middle school students actively participating by delivering speeches on moral values and adding vibrancy through captivating cultural programs.
At Chakka A1 in the Assar block, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp yatra van received a warm welcome, and a pledge ceremony regarding the initiative was led by frontline workers and the public.
A health checkup camp garnered significant attention, and members of self-help groups expressed gratitude for government-sponsored schemes like NRLM , SBM, social welfare schemes, and PMAY.
The yatra’s enthusiastic reception, coupled with the airing of the Prime Minister’s message on a big LED screen, added fervour to the event.
Similarly, in the Chakka panchayat of the Bhaderwah block, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra van was welcomed, and various activities highlighting government-sponsored schemes took center stage. A health checkup camp was organized, and cultural programs and government initiatives were showcased for the public. Panchayat Kilhotran in the Changa block warmly welcomed the yatra van, with colourful cultural programs and various activities enhancing the event’s vibrancy.
Events of a similar nature unfolded in various other panchayats, where government-sponsored schemes were elucidated by concerned officers and officials. Beneficiaries of different government initiatives attended the events, expressing gratitude for the benefits received. The mission of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra underscores the importance of bringing government schemes closer to communities, igniting a spirit of development. Frontline workers played a pivotal role, actively participating and strengthening the impact of this public outreach.
