Azad releases hindi version of book on ‘Jawaharlal Darda’

Democratic Progressive Azad Party Chairman and Former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad unveiled the Hindi version of a book on Jawaharlal Darda at the Constitution Club, New Delhi, heralding Darda as a pivotal figure in the Indian subcontinent, a true freedom fighter, and an eminent politician dedicated to his nation. The event, hosted at the Constitutional Club of India, witnessed Azad as the chief guest.
Azad emphasized the paramount importance of following Darda’s teachings, advocating for a society where individuals coexist with honor, dignity, and a shared sense of unity, transcending barriers of caste and color.
He stressed the significance of propagating Gandhi’s principles, akin to Darda’s advocacy.
Reflecting on his times, Azad highlighted the virtue of agreeing to disagree without animosity or discord, emphasizing that disagreements shouldn’t breed personal enmity or malice.
Jawaharlal Darda, fondly known as Babuji, held roles as an Indian freedom fighter, a prominent politician, and the founding editor of Lokmat group of newspapers. Azad praised Darda’s commitment to national integration, attributing his unwavering dedication to the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.
Azad celebrated Darda’s multifaceted personality, acknowledging him not only as a politician but also as a sincere social activist and a journalist who contributed immensely to enlightening the masses. He lauded Darda’s sincerity, vision, and positive impact on countless lives throughout the nation.
Underlining Darda’s dedication to preserving national unity, Azad extolled his Gandhian principles and tireless efforts to promote humanity’s ideology. The event witnessed the presence of senior journalists, Members of Parliament from various political parties including INC, BJP, TMS, AAP, BSP, Shiv Sena, NCP, RPI, Forward Block, and several independent MPs.
