BSF celebrates its 59th Raising Day, also honours the families of the martyrs

Border Security Force celebrated its 59th raising day with pomp in the border districts Rajouri and Poonch. BSF officials honored the family members of the martyrs. So the soldiers celebrated by holding the front and the BSF officer said that because of the sacrificed soldiers, we all are breathing freely today. We are proud of our soldiers and it is our duty to understand the problems of the soldiers and solve them. The soldiers deployed on every front are my sons and brothers.
The main event was celebrated with pomp at Sector Headquarters BSF Rajouri. Cultural programs and a big meal were arranged for the soldiers in the headquarters premises. All the retired soldiers living near Rajouri along with the families of BSF martyrs were invited and felicitated in the Foundation Day programme. Anil Verma DIG BSF congratulated BSF personnel and their families on the occasion of Raising Day.
DIG Anil Verma, while addressing the BSF family and people present at the event, said that since 1965, the Border Security Force has made a significant contribution in securing India’s borders and has also been at the forefront of many humanitarian efforts in times of crisis and disasters. . BSF has been deployed along with Army personnel along the Indo-Pak Line of Control in District Rajouri and District Poonch. By maintaining vigil and vigil along the LoC, BSF has foiled many attempts by Pakistan and has been successful in maintaining peace in the border area.
Apart from this, BSF has been at the forefront in providing assistance and maintaining cordial relations with the local people living along the LoC under Poonch Rajouri district. Understanding the needs of the area residents, BSF battalions also organized medical camps. While making the youth aware about sports, they were also presented with sports equipment. Writing material was also provided to needy children. The jawans also made the people of the village where they visited aware on many other issues of cleanliness. BSF jawans provide security and vigilance to the border areas day and night, understanding the needs of the area residents and trying to fulfill them. At the same time, Border Security Force personnel deployed on the India-Pakistan Line of Control also celebrated the Foundation Day.
