Former Union Minister Prof. Saifuddin Soz on Monday said it is “wrong” for the J&K Administration to close down all educational institutions for three months at a stretch.
In a statement issued to CNS, Soz said, “Some parents of the students in J&K must have wanted the Administration to decide about vacations, but it could not be their demand to close down schools for three months at a stretch.”
He said that the J&K Administration has thought it feasible to allow a three-month vacation. “It has only served as proof that the Administration feels fatigued and it doesn’t care for what is “Public Welfare”,” Soz added. Former Union Minister said this never happened under any Administration in the state earlier. “Since the present day Administration wants peace of a graveyard in the state, it felt strong enough to close down educational institutions for three months at a stretch,” he reiterated.
