Former Deputy Chief Minister J&K Kavinder Gupta on Thursday claimed that winds of change are blowing in favour of BJP in Rajasthan and it is now matter of days when the state will witness change of guard.
Kavinder was addressing various meetings in five assembly seats in Dausa District on the last day of election campaigning ahead of poll day. He took feedback from the party activists and expressed satisfaction that BJP is doing phenomenally good in the State with change in power becoming evident with each passing day as Congress is struggling to find any takers.
He asked the party cadre to remain cautious on the poll day and raise voice against any attempt of rigging or booth capturing. He said that by ensuring maximum polling the party workers can help BJP to win with thumping majority. He also asked the workers to provide adequate assistance to old and infirm population to ensure that they don’t face any difficulty while exercising their right to franchise. He said that welfare schemes implemented by the Centre were evoking a positive response from the people, and it will augur well for the BJP.
He claimed that there is a political vacuum in Rajasthan, and people are prepared to give BJP an opportunity to fill that void as they can clearly see the people-friendly things done by the Central government led by PM Narendra Modi for the State. He asked the party cadre to make maximum out of the favourable wind blowing in support of BJP in the State by remaining proactive and through making a meaningful connect with the electorate. He said that grassroots level association with the people can do wonders in the election time and therefore the workers’ presence in streets, Mohallas and booths holds the key to win Rajasthan to serve it better than anybody else.
