Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, led by its General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, addressed a review meeting of the party’s Morchas at Residency road, Church Lane.
Office Bearers of BJP ST Morcha, OBC Morcha, Kissan Morcha and Minority Morcha participated in the meeting. Prabhari Minority Morcha Sheikh Bashir, President ST Morcha Roshan Choudhary, OBC State General Secretary Sajjad Kumar Hussain, Minority Morcha State General Secretary Imtiaz Ahmed, Kissan Morcha leaders Dr. Amin Bhat, Javed Ahmed Mir and Nazir Ahmed were among the prominent to attend the meeting.
Ashok Koul chaired and addressed another meeting of Shakti Kendra Pramukhs of district Srinagar at SMC Park, Jawahar Nagar.
Former MLC Surinder Ambardar, district President Srinagar Ashok Bhat, Arif Raja, Gayoor and other prominent party leaders, also accompanied Ashok Koul.
Ashok Koul while addressing the meetings of the party’s Morcha leaders, stressed on their prominent role in taking the public welfare schemes to the public. He said that the Morchas of the party act as a bridge between different communities and the party. He said that while the Morcha projects the aspirations of the community members at the appropriate platform, it also ensures the reach of the party’s ideology to the community. He said that the Modi government has rolled out the policies to empower the communities who are still at the bottom line in the hierarchy and the Morcha leaders need to ensure that the policies benefit the intended population.
He stressed upon them to get them well acquainted with the social welfare schemes of the Modi government, educate, and help them in availing the benefits.
While addressing the Shakti Kendra Pramukhs, Ashok Koul asked them to reach up to masses at the ground level.
He asked them to increase their working in view of upcoming Parliament elections. He prompted them to get fully familiar with the schemes, policies and achievements of the Modi government while reaching out to the public in their areas of work.
