This programme is continuation of the mission started by Late Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary Saheb to work for the welfare & upliftment of the tribals to encourage them to work harder to succeed in their lives.
Jenab Bashir Ahmed Noon also paid rich Tribute to Sh. Birsa Munda & he gave shortbriefings of life struggle of Sh. Birsa Munda who was born in November 15, 1875, in Ulihatu village in present-day Jharkhand, in a tribal Munda family.During that time, the exploitative British Raj had started penetrating the deep jungles of Central and Eastern India, disrupting tribal lives living in harmony with nature.
Sh. Birsa Munda took up the fight for the tribals & he worked to reform, discouraged many superstitious ritesand worked to restore tribal pride. He became a mass leader and began to be considered as Bhagwan. He ignited the minds of the masses- the Mundas, Oraons, other Adivasis and non-Adivasis responded to his call and joined the revolt against the colonial power (1899-1900).
Sh. Birsa Munda was captured by British police and lodged in jail at the age of 25, where he died in captivity on June 9, 1900. This Act restricted the transfer of tribal land to non-tribals and became landmark legislation for the protection of Tribal Rights. He was the one to mobilize the tribal community against the British and forced the colonial authorities to introduce laws protecting the land rights of the tribals.A two minutes silence was observed by the participants to pay tributes to Sh. Birsa Munda Ji on his birth anniversary.
Chairman of the Trust during his speech described the aims & objectives of the Trust & he emphasized the youth to work hard & succeed in their respective fields of Education, Media & Art & Culture as well.
Mr. Shah Mohd Chowdhary highlights the measures taken for the growth of Tribals inspite of various hindrances.
