Police on Friday said that the Sarpanch who was killed by militants earlier at Kulgam didn’t inform the police before going home. Quoting IGP Kashmir, the Kashmir police Zone tweeted “Deceased Sarpanch Shri Shabir Ahmed Mir was given accommodation in a secured hotel in Srinagar. He had left the hotel and reached his home without informing the police. All PPs are advised to kindly follow SOPs”.
