Due to the heavy rainfall in Jammu today, the farmers of R.S Pura region faced huge losses as the crops got damaged in the fields.

According to the farmers, the crops this year were fine and the profit could be huge. However, the paddy and vegetables got destroyed by 100% and rice crops by 70% due to the natural calamity.

“Farmers face losses every year. Today’s rainfall has destroyed our crops. It’s a financial loss and we request Administration to send it’s team for help.” said a farmer

The farmers said that the profits of last year’s paddy crops still haven’t been received and the Government should take measures to help them.
