While banning the sale and storage of bombs and firecrackers, the Jammu district administration has said that only those people can store and sell them, who will take permission from the administration by bringing all the NOCs for the identified places.
In the order issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, it has been said that for the sale of firecrackers for Diwali fireworks, the places will be marked by the administration, and the wanted vendors will be contacted by the fire department, police, municipal and municipal and revenue department. NOC has to be obtained.
It has been said in the order that wholesale and retail traders cannot keep bombs and firecrackers more than the prescribed quantity, and no one will be allowed to sell them after Diwali. This order will come into force with immediate effect and will be effective till 31 November 2021.
You should be aware that since Dussehra, traders have been waiting for permission to sell firecrackers. In such a situation, the guidelines given by DC Jammu have increased the problems of the traders associated with the firecracker business. Moreover, many traders whose warehouses were initially outside the residential areas, now residential colonies have settled around them. In such a situation, they may face difficulty in getting NOC from various departments.
The goods that were left after the sale of firecrackers on Diwali used to keep it in their godown, but this time they will not be able to do that either. However, after this order of DC Jammu, the firecracker traders have started completing all the formalities. At the same time, the retail traders are waiting for the places identified by the DC Jammu to apply for the same. Therefore, they demanded that the administration complete this process at the earliest to set up the stall on time.
Chocolate bombs, chain crackers, rich crackers, dadomas, seven shots, rocket bombs, garlic crackers and state bombs have been completely banned. It has been said in the order that these bombs and firecrackers spread more air and noise pollution, so no wholesale or retail trader will be allowed to sell them.
