JAMMU: The Crime Branch Jammu has registered a case against female JKAS officer Neha Kashyap Pandita and her sister, Meenakshi Pandita, a Government teacher besides their father Roshan Lal Pandita for drawing relief meant for the Kashmiri migrants despite being the Government servants.
The FIR No. 27/2021 has been registered against a total of four accused including the JKAS officer, Government teacher and their parents under Sections 420 and 12-B RPC. Giving details, the Crime Branch officials said Neha Kashyap Pandita has also served as Camp Commander Jagti for almost a year while her sister Meenakshi Pandita is serving as a Government teacher in the Kashmir valley.
“The Relief Commissioner in a written communication to the Crime Branch in response to a query has confirmed that all four family members have drawn relief meant for the Kashmiri migrants including two sisters who were Government officer/teacher and not entitled to the relief,” the officials said.
After registration of FIR, the Crime Branch authorities have entrusted investigation of the case to Inspector Bhagwan Dass.
