Distressed students blocked the main gate of GCW Gandhi Nagar on Thursday morning due to the non-availability of admission in the colleges under the Cluster University.
These students had reached the College, in the morning to meet the Vice-Chancellor of the Cluster University, but due to no hearing there, they came out of the college and started shouting slogans against the Cluster University and the administration. These students also included girl students and blocked the main gate of the campus to raise their voice to the administration, they clashed with the police. There was a scuffle between the police and the students for a long time, but later the police stopped them from blocking the gate.
According to the protestors, Cluster University has wholly failed. About twenty thousand students had applied for admission in the college, but after a few admissions, the university did not admit the rest of the students, saying they did not have any seats. They said that at this time, students who have scored 85 to 90 per cent marks are also involved in the demonstration with him because they were not given admission. What will happen to the youth if the students do not get access even after taking this number.
At the same time, the students involved in the demonstration said that they had studied the whole year with great hard work. But the problem is that we are not being given admission. The students also warned the government to continue their demonstration in case they were not admitted.
