REASI: Another Government teacher among two more persons have been arrested for allegedly attacking a Police party in Chassana area, last month.
They were wanted in case FIR number 35/2021, U/S 341, 353, 382, 147, 149, 336, 504, 506, 224, 225, 120B IPC & Section 3 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act-1984, registered in Police Station Chassana. According to Police, two notorious criminals namely Chankar Singh , son of Paras Ram of Thalkote, Tehsil Chassana and Ayaz Hussain Shah , son of Anwar Hussain Shah have been arrested for their involvement in the said case FIR. Accused Ayaz Hussain Shah is a serving Government teacher by profession and presently posted in Middle School Kewali Thalkote.
He was also involved in rape and snatching cases and earlier chargesheeted in case FIR 123/2018 US 510 RPC of Police Station Reasi and FIR no 6/2017 U/S 341, 323, 382 RPC and FIR no. 47/2020 US 452, 376-D , 109 IPC of Police Station Chassana. Accused Chankar Singh, a notorious criminal of the area, was earlier involved in kidnapping, rape and other crimes of heinous nature. Case FIR NO 34/2014 U/S 451, 447, 323 RPC and FIR no 40/2013 US 363, 452, 342, 376, 212, 147 RPC of Police Station Chassana already stand registered against him.
With these two arrests, total 13 persons have been so far arrested in the case FIR 35/2021 , which was registered in Police Station Chassana on 31st of August 2021 when some alleged criminals of the area attacked police party soon after a former Sarpanch namely Prem Singh of Thakrakote Chassana, who was wanted in rape case, had been arrested.
Earlier, two other Government teachers, namely Riaz Shah and Chain Singh were arrested for their alleged involvement in the case of attacking Police party.
