A covid patient travelling in an ambulance succumbed to death due to lack of oxygen. The Ambulance was travelling from the Government Medical College Jammu to Narayana Hospital, Katra but didn’t have oxygen cylinder in it.

The family members of the demised blamed the Doctor for the death. They said that it was unfair and he lied to them.

“My father was alright. His pulse rate was between 90-95 in the morning. The Ambulance charged Rs. 10,000 for the service but didn’t have oxygen in it. The Doctor ran away as the vehicle reached the Hospital.” His son said

“The Doctor in the Ambulance misbehaved with our children and injected the patient 4 times on the way. He cheated on us. We thought the vehicle had oxygen provision but it didn’t. In fact, the oxygen in the cylinder finished after travelling for 20 kilometres.” His brother added

The family expressed their anger over the incident. They complained about it to the Police and broke the Ambulance’s glass.
