Lockdown in Jammu: This district of Jammu is on lockdown

In surge of covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir UT, Doda Magistrate has imposed a weekend Lockdown in in Doda district. The corona curfew will be active from Friday evening at 7 pm till 7 am of Monday morning.

In a notice issued by District Magistrate of Doda it was informed that the essential services of Chemists, Diagnostic centres, Medical shops, Optical and Clinical establishments, LPG outlets, Petrol Pumps, Agricultural activities, ATM cash vans, Telecom tower operations, e-commerce, home delivery, Restaurants and Hotels for in-house guests, Development construction work and mining activities would be operational.

Health and sanitisation workers and Government sector employees must use their identity cards for proof. Inter-district movement of goods would also be allowed in the weekend curfew.

Partial activities like meat shops, bakery, chicken, milk and dairy, fruits and vegetable shops would be available from 6 am to 10 am in the morning.

As per curfew guidelines, only 50 people would be allowed in religious gatherings while only 20 in death rites. The curfew shall sustain till further notice by the District Magistrate.
