Deputy Commissioner Jammu has come up with colour-coded movement passes that will allow hassle free movement of people. The e-passes will be colour-coded so that it is easier to identify the kind of travel a pass-holder is going carry out.
In order to facilitate, hassle free movement of officials/employess associated with various essential/Important non-essential service of the Government/Private sector and general public for specific emergency reasons during Covid19- Lockdown starting from 29 April 2021; the following colour coding classification of passes has been decided to be issued by the concerned District Magistrate of Jammu Division:
- Red– Government & private employess (Essential Services)
- Yellow– Government employess (Non Essential)
- White– General Public
- Blue– Inter Province/ Outside UT
