JAMMU: As the agitating Dharmarth Trust employees called off their strike after an increase of 20 percent salary was provided, Chairman of the Trust, Dr Karan Singh has hoped that the management and the employees would work together harmoniously to strengthen the Dharmarth Trust in every way.
“Now that a new chapter has begun, I sincerely hope that this great Trust founded by my ancestor Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1846 will re-double its efforts to serve the Sanatana Dharma and further improve the administration of the many temples under its management,” he said in a statement, issued here today.
Observing that calling off prolonged strike was a matter of considerable relief, Dr Karan Singh also expressed his gratitude to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and others for their efforts to resolve the issue.
