A month back a person after his death was buried in a cemetery in the Rangi area of Pattan but after few days the dead body was taken out as his family members doubted that he has been murdered. Now the doubt of the family has been turned into reality after the Baramula police have arrested the man’s wife and her lover in the murder case. The man has been identified as Mohamad Altaf Malick.
As per our executive, earlier only news of women facing problems at her in-law’s house have listened but today a man has been killed. Earlier the man was declared dead after suffering a heart attack but the family of the man wrote a letter to the DC after which the dead body was taken out and was sent for postmortem. In a press conference, SSP Baramulla said that Altaf was staying with At his in-law’s house and his wife Taslima Begum was in a move to kill his husband for a long. On 8 March his wife called her lover Gulam Mohamad Dar at night and he hit her husband on his head with a rod. Gulam himself has accepted that he has hit him with a rod. Both the wife and her lover then threw his body in the cowshed and in the morning his wife said that he has died after suffering a heart attack.
Gulam Mohamad Dar was hiding at Handwara and the police have arrested him from Handwara. The investigation is still underway as there are chances that more people will be associated with the murder case.
