‘Swarnim Vijay Mashaal’ reaches Jammu’s Kaluchak Military Station

JAMMU: To commemorate the 50th anniversary of India’s military victory over Pakistan in the Indo-Pak war of 1971, Swarnim Vijay Mashaal is being carried to various parts of the country.

The Swarnim Vijay Mashaal made its journey though Kathua, Basholi, Samba, Ramgarh and on Monday it reached Kaluchak military station, Jammu under the aegis of Tiger Division of Rising Star Corps. On arrival, Swarnim Vijay Mashaal was received by Brigadier NR Pandey, Commander Kaluchak Brigade, Col Virendra Sahi, Veer Chakra, war hero of 1971 Indo-Pak war, veterans, Veer Naris and serving soldiers. The dignitaries laid wreath at the Swarnim Vijay Mashaal to pay homage to the brave martyrs.

The celebrations will continue in Kaluchak Military Station by organizing a series of events in honour of Swarnim Vijay Mashaal.
