Civil and Police Administration, Ramban, has collected fine to the tune of Rs.1,59,500 on account of violation of Covid-19 SoPs, including non-wearing of face masks at public places.
Following the surge in Covid-19 cases in J&K UT, District Ramban has taken several initiatives to crackdown on violations of Covid-19 protocols, in the larger interest of the safety of people.
Enforcement drives in all major towns including Ramban, Banihal, Gool, Ramsoo and Batote have been launched to enforce the SOPs since April 01. The District Administration will continue the drive to enforce wearing of face masks by the people at all public places and the ceiling of 200 persons in social and customary gatherings.
