JAMMU: “Today is the happiest day of my life,” said the wife of CRPF jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas who was released by the Naxals on Thursday evening.
Manhas, the commando from the Central Reserve Police Force’s elite CoBRA unit, was abducted by Naxals during the Bijapur attack on April 3. “Today is the happiest day of my life. I always remained hopeful of his return. I am very thankful to the government,” Meenu, Manhas’ wife said here.
“His health condition is good,” she further informed.
