JAMMU: With a focused approach towards its outreach with the migratory population residing in the higher reaches of the area of responsibility, during the summer months,
Indian Army carried out interaction with approximate 55 resident Gujjars and Bakkarwals of the area of responsibility at their native places at Banihal in District Kathua and Samba. The endeavor has indeed increased bonhomie with the nomadic population and helped a better understanding and good rapport between the Army and the Gujjar and Bakkarwal.
During the interaction sweets and chocolates were distributed to the children as a goodwill gesture.
