JAMMU: J&K Junior Women Sabre team brought laurels to J&K UT by winning Gold medal in the 28th Junior National Championship in the final by defeating Telangana team, being organised at Rudrapur Uttarakhand.
The J&K team trounced Puducheery by 15-2, Manipur by 15-13 and Maharashtra by 45-43 to reach finals of the championship. The J&K team who brought laurels to the UT including Shreya Gupta, Kritarthi Kotwal, Anant Samakshi and Malvi Arora under the leadership of Shotu Lal Sharma, Maninder Pal Singh, Suniya Arora and Anthony Matoo.
