NEW DELHI: Union Health Ministry today said that one crore 80 lakh five thousand 503 people have been vaccinated till now.
It said, the COVID-19 recovery rate in the country now stands at 97.01 per cent. In the last 24 hours, 13 thousand 819 people were discharged. Till now one crore eight lakh 39 thousand 894 people have recovered from COVID-19. In the last 24 hours, 16 thousand 838 new COVID cases have been reported. With this, the total number of cases have gone up to one crore 11 lakh 73 thousand 761. The Ministry said, 113 deaths reported in the last 24 hours and the death toll in the pandemic has touched one lakh 57 thousand 548. Active cases in the country are now at one lakh 76 thousand 319. The Indian Council of Medical Research, ICMR said, a total of 21 crore 99 lakh 40 thousand 742 samples have been tested for COVID-19 till yesterday.
It said, seven lakh 61 thousand 834 samples were tested yesterday.
