JAMMU: GDC Jindrah celebrated 72th Republic day in the college campus. Prismatic cultural programme was arranged by the students of the College that started with Sarswati Vandana.
Prof (Dr) Rajshree Dhar Principal of the College spoke at length about the relevance of this day and stressed on the need to celebrate such occasions as per NEP – 2020 and to impart all-round development in the students. She also congratulated students for their hard work to make the programme successful. Dr Ashaq Hussain (HOD) Urdu, put emphasis on the venerated celebration and love for the country.In his speech he made references to the freedom fighters of our country who laid down their lives for our better future. The students who spoke on this occasion were Manisha Devi 3rd Sem, Latif 3rd Sem, Shamim Akhter 3rd sem and Anil Kumar of 1st Sem. The program was organized under the patronage of Prof (Dr) Rajshree Dhar, Principal of the College and was organised by the cultural committee of the college.
The comparers for the programme were Eshika Sharma and Daler Singh from Ist Sem of the college. Formal vote of thanks was presented by Atul Padha from sem 5th sem.
