With an aim to foster and reinforce the spirit of peace and communal harmony in the region, Indian Army organised Kaumi Ekta meeting at Sondar region of Kishtwar District.
The event provided a platform to the local populace from various religions and different walks of life to interact with each other on common issues and to spread the message of unity and brotherhood. A total of 12 x locals including three Panchayat Members attended the meeting.
The local populace and Community leaders expressed hope that such events will give a fillip to communal harmony in the region.
