Kulali celebrates World Laughter Day

With the aim to educate the People about good exercise and wellness through laughter, Army celebrated World Laughter Day at Kulali in Poonch District.

The celebration of World Laughter Day is positive manifestation for world peace and is intended to build up a global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through laughter. It is most often celebrated by gatherings of people in public places with the sole purpose of laughing. Its popularity has grown exponentially with that of the laughter yoga movement now counting thousands of laugher clubs in more than 105 countries. During the event, the audience was briefed about the benefits of laughing as a good exercise that improve our every day wellness and wellbeing. The audience appreciated the efforts of the Army in organising such activities which generates awareness and a feeling of goodwill amongst the civil population, especially the youth.

A total of 20 children and 20 civilians attended the event.
