More than 50 participants comprising of eminent personalities from within and outside J&K participated in the 2nd Web Talk delivered by Prof. Anurag Gangal, Dept of Political Science,University of Jammu on the theme ” New World Order and COVID 19. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Manoj Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu appreciated the efforts of Media Cell, University of Jammu for taking an initiative of organising ‘Web Talk Series’ and this provided a opportune platform to listen to the pool of human resources, within University, who are experts in their respective areas and are much sought after within and outside the Country. Prof Dhar appreciated the ideas and analysis presented in the talk by the speaker. Earlier, Prof Anurag Gangal in his detailed talk highlighted the catastrophic eventualities corona virus family is bringing into the world and how it is threatening nations of the world. What challenges the newly emerging world order is facing not only for today but also for posterity to see and live with it.The talk was followed by a question-answer session. Prof Rajni Dhingra, Registrar, University of Jammu was the special guest on the occasion. Dr Vinay Thusoo, Moderator of the Web Talk Series and Official Spokesperson, JU delivered formal welcome address. Among others Dr Meenakshi Kilam, Director, DIQA, Prof Vishav Raksha, Director, Centre for Women’s Studies, Heads of various Teachings Departments, Deans, Directors, faculty members, Scholars and students were also present on the occasion.
