Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Thursday urged J&K administration to immediately look into the issue of Kashmiri students stranded in different parts of the country. In a statement the party spokesperson Altaf Thakur said the government should appoint a nodal officer who would stay in touch with these students or else a mechanism should be evolved to air lift the students back to their homes. Thakur said he has been receiving hundreds of phone calls from students, who were studying in various colleges and universities across India. He said there were dozens of Kashmiri students stranded in various universities including Dehradun, Chandigarh Global University, who were facing immense problems.
