Army has been relentlessly working in the past to raise the standards of education in the remote and backward District of Doda. It has been its endeavor to guide students to the path of inclusivity with the mainstream of the country. To fulfill its commitment, the Army has undertaken multifarious initiatives to assist the students and the youth of the region. Continuing with its initiatives, Army distributed School Bags and Stationery to Students of Darul Furkhan Madrassas, Ghat and Anwar-Ul-Uloom Madrassa, Akramabad. There are around 142 students and 14 Maulvis who are presently attending the Madrassas and most of them are under privileged. Recently, in a meeting with teachers and students at Akramabad Madrassa the teaching staff had requested for school bags and stationary for the students. Acting on the requirement, Army has distributed 102 school bags and stationary. The school management, students and their parents expressed gratitude and thanked Army for this assistance. Such initiatives will engage youth constructively, thereby adding on to positivity in the region. It will also strengthen the bond between the security forces and the locals which will ensure peace and prosperity in the region.
