Sat starts developmental works in Ward 18

BJP leader Sat Sharma (CA) started remodeling works of Lane no 2, Last Morh, Sarwal, Ward 18 along with Corporator Dinesh Gupta. Sharma was also accompanied by a large number of people including District President Munish Khajuria, Corporator Ward 17 Nidhi Mangotra, Mandal President Raveesh Mengi, JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) officials, local residents and political activists of the area. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 12.50 lakhs and three lanes will be constructed under the same. The works of one lane is already in progress and remaining works of a third lane will be taken up in coming days. This was second lane whose work was started by Former MLA along with local Corporator and the funds for the works were allotted to Corporator through JMC. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that this lane was constructed more than two decades ago and in this time span its condition got worsened and it was very difficult for the residents and commuters to pass through this area. He said on demands of locals, the works had to be taken up so that best possible services pertaining to infra could be provided to the masses at their doorsteps. He stated that the pace of development in Jammu West Assembly segment in the last five years itself speaks that the Constituency progressed a lot and more initiatives will be taken up to improve the overall scenario of the Constituency. Dinesh Gupta said that roads, lanes, power scenario, fresh drinking water supply in the ward, sanitation and other necessary things were improved a lot during the tenure of Former MLA which has made Ward 18 as one of the most developed wards in Jammu city. He also stated about upcoming works to be taken up in the ward. Munish Khajuria stated the developmental works done in the Constituency by Former MLA has satisfied lakhs of inhabitants and every basic amenity to next level infra has been provided to the locals in order to give every possible facility to the residents. Sangeeta Gupta, Munish Raja, Kailash Sharma (Karan), Ashok Gandhi, Sunita Arora, Ram Pyari, Krishan Sarmal, Narinder Gupta, Jatin Gupta, Vikas Bali, Satinder Gupta, Pritam Lal, Kapil Chadha, Ramesh Gupta, Sanjay Kumar, Ankush Bakshi, Reetiz Khajuria and several others were also present.
