Army organised an awareness lecture on “Winter Diseases and their Prevention” at Mastandhara and Traranwali in Poonch District. A large number of students, youth, villagers and prominent personalities of the region attended the lecture. The audience was sensitized about health problems like respiratory diseases, skin problems, chilblains and other ailments caused due to extreme cold weather. During the lecture,various preventive measures that can be taken to avoid such diseases were also told. The local populace appreciated and thanked Indian Army for conducting lectures and keeping them abreast.
