A rape case has been reported in Gangyal Police Station on Sunday. As per the details, a girl from Kunjwani lodged a complaint with police that a youth namely Surinder Kumar, resident of Kathua who came in contact with her through facebook, raped her on several occasions on the pretext of marrying her. She alleged that now he has refused to marry her. Police didn’t register a case following which she approached court. On the directions of court, police conducted medical examination of the victim girl and registered a case for investigation. Efforts are on to nab the accused.
